Project Overview
The ASP Group website is a specialized digital platform developed for a legal firm led by Ms. Masoumeh Abdolrahimi, a certified domestic and international lawyer with over two decades of practice. The platform’s core mission was to create a unified, professional online presence for the firm’s comprehensive legal and immigration services. It was engineered as a critical operational tool, enabling clients to access service information, complete intake forms, and book private consultation sessions (in-person or online).
Introduction:
This project was initiated to organize and professionalize the ASP Group’s online presence, primarily targeting Farsi-speaking clients. The core challenge was developing a website that not only reflected the firm’s established two decades of legal credibility but also strategically presented two areas with highly distinct visual identities—formal legal services (conservative style) and immigration services (often associated with a more vibrant, “touristic” style)—under one cohesive, professional platform. The ultimate goal was to create a functional and credible digital touchpoint that streamlined the service application and session booking process.
Challenges and Project Management
Project implementation faced three major hurdles that tested my capacity for stakeholder management, strategic analysis, and development under tight constraints:
- Strategic Conflict and Content Indecision: The client was initially hesitant about merging the two distinct design styles. At one point, she considered building two separate websites due to the opposing visual requirements. My solution was to conduct a comprehensive Competitor Analysis of successful integrated legal and immigration platforms. I then proposed a strategic prioritization plan, successfully persuading the client that the main theme must be formal legal services to preserve credibility, with immigration services neatly integrated as a structured subsection.
- Tight Time Constraints and Communication: The client requested a swift launch but, due to a demanding schedule and limited knowledge of web development, often delayed providing necessary content, approvals, and key feedback. My solution was to accelerate the design process by focusing on efficiency and creating concise, checklist-based communications to maximize the efficiency of her limited time.
- Technical Scope and Localization: The website required strong baseline security and complete optimization for its target audience. My solution was twofold: I implemented necessary security protocols and, critically, performed content translation directly from Arabic to Persian to ensure the linguistic accuracy of legal terminology for the primary Farsi-speaking market.
Design Approach and Technical Tools
Figma for Visual Style Definition: Instead of traditional wireframing, I leveraged Figma exclusively to define the site’s visual style and design system, meticulously planning the color palettes, spacing conventions, and typographic hierarchy. This allowed for precise control over the aesthetic output and ensured brand consistency across the entire site. For the aesthetic, a unique, custom color palette was developed to establish a calm, trusting, and authoritative visual identity: the primary colors ranged from a dark sea-green (#041F1A) to a lighter tone (#0D4F45), accented by a warm beige secondary color (#DFD3B4) to add contrast and a professional touch.
Implementation and Empowerment: The entire site was implemented using WordPress and the Elementor Pro page builder, ensuring high flexibility and responsiveness. To empower the client for future self-management, I created simple, tutorial videos guiding her through basic content management and minor updates.
Key Achievements and Impact
The ASP Group website was successfully launched, exceeding the client’s expectations for both design and functionality.
- Digital Authority: We established a highly credible online presentation that professionally showcases the expertise of Ms. Abdolrahimi and her team, reflecting their 20 years of experience and broad legal scope.
- Operational Efficiency: The website now serves as the main client acquisition tool, automating the crucial processes of service request submission and session booking.
- Client Satisfaction: The client was extremely pleased with the professional design, the unique color scheme, and my comprehensive, problem-solving approach to resolving the initial conflicting design requirements.
Conclusion
The ASP project served as a powerful, real-world exercise in Stakeholder Management, Applied Analytical Thinking, and Rapid Development. This experience significantly strengthened my ability to synthesize conflicting client visions, maintain brand integrity under pressure, and effectively leverage both design (Figma for visual style definition) and implementation (Elementor) tools in a challenging environment. This project clearly demonstrates my competence in transforming complex business requirements into a functional, beautiful, and strategically aligned digital solution.
