Project Overview: The Old Friend is a trade group with more than half a century of experience supporting Iranian shoe production. They are committed to producing high-quality shoes with updated designs and the highest standards for their customers. Competing with international brands like China, Turkey, and Italy, The Old Friend aims to excel in the global market while creating job opportunities in Iran.
Introduction: The Old Friend tasked me with creating a multilingual website in Arabic, English, and Persian to showcase their leather shoe trade business. The goal was to design a site that was not only attractive and user-friendly but also appealing to international companies.
Challenges: The primary challenge was to create an engaging design that would appeal to international companies and buyers. The website needed to represent The Old Friend’s high standards and unique products while being accessible in three different languages.
Approach and Solutions: To address these challenges, I held multiple sessions with the CEO to gather detailed information about their offerings and how they wanted to be perceived. I researched top industry brands to understand design trends and standards. Using Elementor and WPML, I built a website that represented their brand effectively. The design included large grids at the top of the site to showcase their unique leather shoes beautifully. I also made several security customizations, optimized the site for better performance, and ensured the website was fully responsive across all devices.
